The theme fully supports job posting structured data, ensuring listings meet Google’s schema requirements. This improves search visibility, making job postings easier to index and display in relevant search results, including Google Job Search.
How It Works
Cariera is built on WP Job Manager (WPJM), which automatically adds structured data (schema markup) to job listings. This ensures Google can recognize and index job postings efficiently.
- WPJM Schema Support: Job details like title, company, location, and salary (if provided) are formatted to meet Google Job Search requirements.
- Natural Indexing: Google discovers job listings organically through crawling—no manual submission is required
How Google Finds Your Jobs
Google’s bots crawl your site and pick up job listings. Here’s the process:
- Crawling: Bots scan your pages.
- Schema Detection: Provided structured data marks listings as jobs.
- Indexing: Jobs get added to Google’s system and may show in search results.
This happens automatically but can take days or weeks depending on your site.
