With the major update version 1.4.5, Cariera switches 100% to Elementor, one for the most popular free page builders for WordPress. Switching to Elementor will open new ways to improve the theme and add better and more modern pages to the theme in future updates
What does this mean for customers that currently use WPBakery Page Builder?
Cariera has 500+ customers that use the theme with WPBakery Page Builder and it will continue to support this page builder by adding the latest updates of the plugin. All new elements and pages that will be added to the theme from now on will be for Elementor.
Is the demo content available for WPBakery Page Builder?
No, you will have to create the website from scratch with WPBakery Page Builder and it’s custom elements. Starting from version 1.4.5 Cariera will only offer demo content that has been created with Elementor.
Can I switch to Elementor from WPBakery Page Builder?
You would have to import the demo content and edit the content with Elementor, just like you have done with WPBakery Page Builder when you first created your site. There is no way to convert the demo to Elementor and switch page builders.
The theme is constantly under development, customers recommendations and suggestions are taken into consideration with each update. If you think that Cariera really needs a feature that is not currently included in the theme feel free to open a support ticket.
